Picture Matthew Chadwick took of me sitting on the bed while he was up visiting with his grandmother, who lived nearby. His reflection is in the mirror.

My doll, Karen, that Mom made me, with PJs on to match ones I had when she was made, is sitting on my right behind me. Bonnie, another doll she made me when I was younger, is behind me. Raggedy Ann is lying beyind me and on my left. The pillow is a Holly Hobby - type design, and I think it was made by Grandma Haymore. The dresser is the one I grew up with, and was part of the first set of bedroom furniture Mom and Dad owned as a couple, if I remember correctly. I painted the coloring page on the wall above me. Note that my front teeth were still missing from my car accident.

Bed and Old Cubbies

I bought the mid-range mattress instead of the basic and it was much thicker than I realized: the top is even with the headboard. The delivery men also set the bed up about 6" out from the wall and it's too heavy for me to shove backward.

So this looks a bit strange, but you can get the idea. My mother did the painting. These are also my old Cargo cubbies that used to live in my living room.
